ABOUT DESIRE2DANCE
Desire2Dance is a multi-award winning, rapidly growing, friendly ISTD Dance school based in Crawley, founded in 2016. We offer dance lessons for boys and girls in ISTD Ballet, ISTD Modern Theatre, ISTD Tap, Jazz, Pointe and Ballet Boost as well as Adult classes in Ballet, Tap and Pilates.
We offer opportunities to take part in festivals, performances and to take examinations. Desire2Dance are proud to have been selected as Winners of Dance School of the Year in 2020 and 2021 in the Prestige awards and were Finalists for Dance School of the Year 2019.
OUR PURPOSE
Your child’s development is important to us, we aim to aid children with their natural developmental skills and turn this into an art which is also fun and enjoyable at the same time.
Students can work towards exams in all three styles of dance where they will be supported and guided every step of the way and at the end of it they will have their own personal achievement. This is something as a school we feel very passionate about, especially as dance classes become part of a child’s life, it is always good to have something to show for their commitment.
ALL OUR CLASSES TAKE PLACE IN OUR BEAUTIFUL BARN
Our studio is located in the perfect location between Horsham and Crawley, at Bewbush Barn Church, Francis Edwards Way, RH11 8GG. We have a Ballet Barre for Ballet classes. There is a waiting room on a Monday and Saturday for parents to sit in. There are toilet facilities and lots of parking.
WE ARE AN ISTD DANCE SCHOOL
ISTD stands for Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and all of our exams take place with the ISTD. Children work their way through the grades when they are ready.
We spent 3 years of teacher training to qualify as an ISTD teacher so that we can teach ISTD classes to your children. Prior to this we also worked our way through all the grades as a child ourselves.

Faqs
Below are some frequently asked questions, if you have any others please do not hesitate to Contact Us.
Exams are optional but we encourage children to work towards these so they get an achievement in their dancing over the years. Jazz/Street and Zumba Kids do not hold examinations. Children will not take an exam in Pre Primary or Tiny Tappers.
If you are interested in a class then please contact us through the contact form or via email with which class/es you are interested or for which age and we can send you full class details with a link to register and arrange a free trial.
Pay as you go classes do not offer a free trial so these can be booked for a date which suits you. There is no payment taken on the booking page so after your first booking we will email you payment details.
All uniform items can be purchased through us, after your trial the uniform list will be sent to you with full details. Uniform for each class can be found on the classes page. There is no uniform for our parent and toddler class or adult classes.
